July 5, 2021 — Hawkesbury, Ontario-based Tulmar Safety Systems has been award a contract from the Department of National Defence (DND) to supply the Royal Canadian Navy with Hazardous Duty and Maritime Pouch Life Preservers. Under this contract, Tulmar will provide a firm quantity of 4,000 units with an option to supply up to an additional 14,400 units.

The multi-year contract is familiar work for Tulmar, having delivered more than 32,000 of these life preservers to the Royal Canadian Navy over the past five years under a similar contract for DND.
